Winter Travel Basketball:
United Sports provides opportunities for 4-6th grade athletes who wish to play competitive basketball at a level beyond area recreational programs. The organization provides intense skill training, competitive league and tournament play.
While a minimum proficiency level is required to compete, United Sports will field as many teams as talent allows. Athletes are assigned to the team that will afford them the maximum playing time. Winning is not our top priority - though we do stress competitiveness and sportsmanship. Simply, we provide an avenue for committed players to get better.
Are advertised and held each fall.
During the season, players receive instruction and play games at least 3 times per week. Our training program is designed and managed by former collegiate players and high school basketball coaches.
We compete from early November through March, including spring tournaments. We play in area travel leagues where all games are played on regulation floors and officiated by PIAA officials.
Spring AAU Basketball:
The AAU season does not interfere with winter or interscholastic seasons. It provides a terrific opportunity for players to extend their season and play with, and against some of the best talent in the region. Typically, our teams compete in 4-6 tournaments per season.
We compete under the United Athletics banner and our program is managed by area high school coaches. All of our teams compete under similar playing philosophies, developed by these coaches.
Open tryouts are advertised and held in late winter.
Boys / Girls: 4th - 12th Grade
